Interview basics

Some teams at Colt have role-specific exercises or online assessments into the interview process. You will be told if the role you’re interviewing for requires one of these. If you need an accommodation, or have questions or concerns, please reach out, as we ensure reasonable accommodations for all individuals. Most interviews at this time will be virtual, so you will need to access Microsoft Teams. You'll be provided with a link in the invite, as well as phone options if you are unable to join by laptop.

During your phone interview, be in a quiet and comfortable place with no distractions.
Have a computer with a reliable connection and access to email.
If you're using a mobile phone, ensure you are in a place with proper coverage.
Have a copy of your CV and the job description on hand.
Have paper and pen readily available.

Do you offer benefits?

Yes. Colt offer a range of amazing benefits that you can control, and they can vary by location, team, or role. Whether our customers work in the Enterprise, Strategic Alliances or Capital Markets space, they know our salespeople are always working to get them the right solution to meet their business challenges.

Marketing

Our award-winning Marketing team supports our salespeople by delivering a robust ‘go to market’ plan while evolving the Colt brand as a high bandwidth leader with a best-in-class network and customer experience.

Sales Enablement

Sales Enablement’s purpose is to improve sales productivity – identify and understand initiatives to drive productivity and win rates, and collaborate to deliver solutions for our salespeople from day one.

Professional Services

Our skilled in-house Consultants and Engineers help plan, deploy, optimise, manage and run our customers' network infrastructure, either as part of a comprehensive package or an end-to-end managed network service.

Our Customer Service team is organised into four key verticals - Customer Relationship Management, Service & Contract Management and Business Transformation - all of which focus on how to deliver the best experience for our customers.

The team drives success through delivering the 'People’s Agenda' which includes attracting, retaining and developing talent with entrepreneurial spirit, who can inspire others to work with them, and who lead by example.

Our HR strategy is focused on four key areas: we are a right-sized, globalised and simplified organisation, our people are actively engaged in our success, the best talent wants to work for Colt, and working at Colt is simple.

Our structure

Talent Acquisition

Aided by workforce analytics and specialist recruiters, Colt’s Talent Acquisition team aims to provide exceptional customer service by implementing an efficient hiring process, attracting exceptional talent and reducing spend with recruitment agencies.

HR Operations

Our Global HR Operations team weaves together HR domain knowledge, HR processes, enabling technologies, automation and analytical capabilities to help the business drive more meaningful outcomes. The team’s focus is to execute HR strategy, while working closely with functions, HR business partners, HR CoEs and local HR teams.

Business Partnering

Each of our functions have dedicated HR Business Partners and Talent Partners who support managers and employees whilst driving the people agenda in the business unit.

Reward

Global Reward is responsible for managing Colt’s Reward Policy, which includes compensation, benefits, recognition and mobility. The team manages the annual compensation review process, market intelligence and provides RemCo support to the board.

Employee Experience

The Employee Experience team at Colt is responsible for employee engagement, culture, and learning and development. The team looks after its global learning solution which provides employees with access to thousands of short courses, while managing the company’s Ambassador programme to drive employee engagement.

Operations and engineering

At Colt, providing connectivity is at our core. It’s what we do. And our Operations and Engineering teams are where all the magic happens to bring this capability to our customers. We build, manage and protect the technology that keeps Colt running.

Engineering

When it comes to networks we’re recognised as an innovator and pioneer. The team is responsible for the end-to-end engineering of the Colt network, which covers everything from strategy, architecture, design, testing, planning, implementation, capacity management, carrier relations, network sourcing and expansion.

Service Delivery

Network Operations

Our Network Operations team is responsible for the Network Operations Centre (NOC) in Europe and Asia, technical fault service desk, security operations and incident management across Colt’s network and voice portfolio.

Finance

The CFO Leadership Team is responsible for managing and developing Colt’s finance organisation and strategy. The agreed remit of the team is to define and execute Colt’s finance strategy by developing a high performing team to enable the delivery of outstanding commercial performance.

Our highly experienced Finance teams proactively provide their expertise in financial reporting and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, internal and external reporting, as well as end to end financial processes. We are a highly skilled, collaborative team of specialists focussed on enabling the delivery of Colt’s growth strategy.

Legal and regulatory

We are an analytical group of people who are always looking for ways for Colt to be the best.

About us

In order to support Colt’s operating model in the most efficient and cost effective way, this function has been organised around Centres of Excellence, each headed by a Senior Colt Lawyer.

What do we do?

Our Legal team is organised around the following Centres of Excellence: Corporate Law, Company Secretariat, Commercial Law, Real Estate Law, Data Protection & Legal Operations. We are a highly skilled, collaborative team of specialists focussed on enabling the delivery of Colt’s growth strategy. The Regulatory Affairs team is responsible for telecoms-specific regulation and policy such as:

Developing and managing Colt’s relationship with government authorities within footprint countries

Developing and driving strategies for improving fair-competition rules, designed to ensure a level playing field between Colt and our incumbent suppliers and competitors

Ensuring compliance with telecoms-specific rules, at the country level

Advising the business on Colt’s global licensing position; in particular, where and what Colt is permitted to sell by country, and any local specific rules that may apply

Technology and security

At Colt, providing connectivity is at our core. It’s what we do. And our Technology and Security teams are where all the magic happens to bring this capability to our customers. We build, manage and protect the technology that keeps Colt running.

Working in Technology and Security, you’d be joining a team with the best industry expertise and knowledge. We cover a wide range of areas; from setting our security strategy to driving process transformation.

Our structure

Our team of IT specialists are responsible for all of our system’s needs. Their focus is to make our systems as simple and intuitive as possible for our people to use, and our customers to do business with us.

Security

As part of our Security team, you’ll be helping to safeguard both our employees and customers. We cover a wide remit including business continuity, physical security, lawful intercept and fraud.

Process and Project Transformation

The team works in partnership with the business to optimise and re-engineer our processes to make sure we’re doing things in the most simple and effective way. They also manage customer intelligence which looks our customer segmentation and reporting on our customer experience metrics.

This team innovates by exploring new ideas. They handle experiments, stress tests and proofing new technology concepts
