CEO, Colt

"We believe that enabling and empowering our people, and the partners we work with, is vital - and that means everyone, regardless of whether someone has disabilities or a long-term condition and regardless of whether this is visible or invisible - every individual should find it easy to connect and contribute."

Delivering the Colt accessibility roadmap

To deliver the ambition outlined in the Colt Accessibility Roadmap, we need the right tools, skills and networks in place to empower our teams. This knowledge base will empower our technical and content teams, and networks to be more inclusive in everything they do, delivering digital products and services for both staff and customers.

The Colt Accessibility Guides have been designed to make delivery of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) more achievable and provide our project managers with the definition of 'done' and the means by which accessibility can be delivered.

Contents

  1. Inclusive Design for Product Managers
  2. Project Managing for Accessibility
  3. Guidance for Developers and Testers
  4. Accessibility for Content Producers

These guidelines are aligned with the values outlined in Colt's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategy, and are to be used in conjunction with Colt's Brand Guidelines and Web Guidelines.
