Colt adds AWS Direct Connect in Singapore

November 14, 2016 – Colt has added an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Direct Connect access node in Singapore.
The new access node is located in Global Switch’s Singapore data centre and complements Colt’s existing node in Equinix SG2, offering both diversity and protection. Customers can now connect directly to AWS from either or both of these locations.
This enhanced solution caters to the needs of businesses in Singapore, such as financial organizations that require diversity, enterprises migrating data/applications to the cloud, and other entities that require reliable, dedicated connectivity.
Colt’s AWS Direct Connect solutions bring cloud services directly to the user through a secure, private network, rather than internet-based connections prone to disruption, thereby achieving the stability necessary to serve the mission-critical needs of business applications.
