Colt boosts UCaaS solution with expansion to seven new countries and advanced digital voice features

21 countries in total now benefit from access to solution which runs on Microsoft 365 and integrates AI workplace assistance features with enhanced voice capabilities

Colt Technology Services (Colt), the digital infrastructure company, today announced an expansion to its Colt Intelligent Communications (CIC) Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) with availability in seven further European countries. The additional countries  – Czech Republic, Finland, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Romania and Slovakia – mean businesses can now benefit from the quality, security and flexibility delivered by Colt’s suite of fully-compliant cloud voice services in 20 countries across Europe1, and in Japan.  Perfect for businesses building powerful unified communications for the modern workplace, Colt’s CIC services give employees an enjoyable, connected digital user experience for greater productivity and performance by bringing together AI-based enterprise applications in the cloud – delivered by a single provider.

The announcement comes as analysts Cavell Group estimate the UCaaS market is set to generate CAGR of 10.3% over the next five years, reaching more than 131 million business users by the end of 20282.

CIC now delivers new automation and AI features that save employees time, remove the need to manually switch between screens and applications, and help them work together more productively and effectively. These features include:

  • Auto-join scheduled Teams meetings
  • Built-in generative AI platforms including Microsoft Co- Pilot to transform the speed, accuracy and quality of tasks
  • Enhanced analytics and performance data following Teams meetings

CIC applications run on Microsoft’s flagship Microsoft 365 cloud based platform, ensuring a familiar desktop experience and providing immersive unified communications with Teams. Performance is guaranteed with Colt’s connectivity to the cloud and voice breakout based on Colt’s Tier 1, globally connected, high performance network, removing frustrating and disruptive service interruptions such as Teams calls dropping or lagging.

Tyler Hemmen, VP Enterprise Products and Solutions, Colt Technology Services said, “AI and automation present tremendous opportunities for business to secure a competitive advantage, but the reality is that many organisations are still in the early stages of exploring their potential. By integrating AI and automation features into Colt Intelligent Communications, we’ve made it easy for them to dip their toes into the water and create an outstanding connected employee experience which transforms and amplifies productivity. Now, more countries than ever can benefit from our cloud voice and data expertise coupled with our powerful, secure digital infrastructure”.

Colt’s voice and network solutions are built on Colt’s global digital network which reaches over 32,000 buildings across 230 cities.
