Global staffing agency underpins digital transformation with Colt services
As a global leader in the sourcing and placing of SAP professionals, RED processes thousands of job openings. Before Luke Braham, RED’s IT Manager could get RED started on it transformation journey, he knew he had to put the right foundations in place, and for connectivity services in Europe he said that meant Colt. RED’s European offices use the Colt network for connectivity, internet access and voice over IP.
The next challenge was to underpin digital transformation and business growth with fast, reliable access to cloud-based services, allowing people to work more efficiently and flexibly.
Using Colt’s Dedicated Cloud Access red now connects directly to the Microsoft Azure cloud for many of the services and applications that help RED work smarter. This has enabled them to establish private secure connectivity to the cloud, reducing network cost, increasing bandwidth throughout and providing a more consistent network experience than internet based connections.
The company’s recruiters are now 25% more flexible, as cloud-based services make it easy to work remotely and securely even from personal devices; company turnover has increased and more contracts were handled in 2016 than in any previous year.
