Sigh of relief - Shristi thinks Colt is a good one!
Part of Infrastructure Engineering, Shristi works on network transformation and optimisation, working with lots of different teams globally. She believe people skills are critical to success .When she first joined us, her previous experience was predominantly technical. But we carved out time for Shristi to learn new skills, set goals and develop her knowledge.
Shortly after joining, she was put on a big, complex project where she was able to make her mark. Being part of our Women in Engineering group has helped Shristi to connect with others, share ideas and support other women too. Mentoring has helped her to progress and so she wants to give back to others too.
A big plus for Shristi, is that at Colt, we’re flexible first. Unlike a lot of other companies who, in a post-covid climate, are gradually reducing their flexible working allowances. This allows for Shristi to prioritise her physical and mental health. The 3-hour roundtrip journey she would take on her commute, is now replaced with yoga and learning new things.
