Colt help
Use Colt® Edge Private Cloud on VMware Cloud FoundationTM to create a virtual service for your load balancer application. Before creating a virtual service, you must have deployed a load balancer application. The process to create a virtual service takes between five and ten minutes the first time. During this time, Colt Edge Private Cloud on VMware Cloud FoundationTM creates the service engines with an IP address on the 192.168.13.0/24 network as well as the 192.168.12.0/24 network. The 192.168.13.0/24 network is used for communication between the controller and the service engines. The 192.168.12.0/24 network is used for communication between the service engines and the client servers.
To create a virtual service:
Field | Description |
Name | Type a name for the virtual service. |

For the virtual IP, start with 192.168.12.101 for the IP Address. You cannot build virtual machines on this network. It is only there for virtual IP assignment and service engine use. To see the external IP range and which IP addresses are in use, click located next to the Virtual IP field. |
